About Lauren
As a mum to two energetic young boys, Lauren enjoys the calm, focus and balance that a nourishing yoga practice invites.
Her Yin & Restorative yoga classes provide the perfect combination of gentle stretches, guided meditation and restful, restorative poses. She provides a nurturing, welcoming space in which to ease physical tension, find mental clarity and access a state of calm. Clients often comment on her gentle, soothing voice and her aptitude for enabling deep relaxation.
Lauren respects that every body is different – and that the way we feel varies from day to day – and always offers a variety of ways to explore each pose, encouraging you to listen to your body and take it at your own pace. Peri- and postnatal students are welcome to Lauren’s classes.
Lauren teaches on Thursday evenings at 6:30pm.
"Lauren’s calm and steady voice guiding you through the class is meditative in its own right. She offers gentle encouragement to make adjustments to suit your own abilities, providing a tailored practice to accommodate each individual’s body and energy levels. Since practicing yoga with Lauren I’m no longer afraid to take up space, both physically and metaphorically. I feel more connected to, and understanding of, my body and mind."

"I attend Lauren's yin yoga class regularly - it's an oasis in a busy week. The room is warm and spacious and Lauren always prepares mats and props for each member of the group and plays lovely, relaxing ambient music throughout. She offers a variety of postures with alternatives and gives just enough gentle, encouraging instruction whilst offering quiet space to ease into the postures. Yin yoga builds body awareness whilst releasing holding in the body. Lauren leaves plenty of time for relaxation at the end of the class. A time to relax deeply and feel taken care of!"
